When you discover that the place in Paddington you used to go to for brunch about 10 years ago not only has a bathroom now BUT it is so very purple! There used to be a single gentleman working there, doing the cooking, the serving and, I assume, the managing as well. He was nice, kind and welcoming, but he used to look worried, and quite tired, too. There weren't many customers at the time, either. Now, he has a team he works with and the place was packed. They've expanded it to include an outside eating area, this here bathroom, and moved the kitchen in the back, for more room for tables in the front. The breakfast, to my delight, was as good as always, and it's gotten rave reviews on Google, I can tell you that! I was so happy to see he was doing well, all these years later - he even had the chance to get a bite to eat himself while the others picked up his orders. This bathroom, a vision in purple with music blasting from the speakers, was the cherry on top-a symbol that things were going so well that they could afford to splurge. Whatever your taste in bathroom design is, this, I assure you, doesn't come cheap. It was funny how the song that came on was "Don't try to change me"-as change, for this place, couldn't have been more welcome, hard-earned and well-deserved. It stood the test of time, faced its own share of challenges, and came out alive and well. Happy. Same here. #raffles #cafe #brunch #paddington #london #change #purple #bathroom #10yearchallenge #thriving #smallbusiness
No diamonds, just half-told stories dug out of Sunday fleamarkets. #vintage #accessories #padmeamidala #weddingoutfit #lightsaberbouquet #bridesmaid #centennialpark #sydney #visitsydney #Australia #nsw
At @emmagardian and @a.wall.90 's wedding, none of my bridesmaid duties felt like duties, to be honest-which isn't exactly what my husband could say about himself, after I dragged him under a tree (while the wedding party enjoyed their champagne and the vegetarian hors d'oeuvres that the bride and groom ordered for us), so I could princess about in this gorgeous dress for the time span of about 57 similar-looking pictures that were 'not good enough'. Anyway. I love all of you and thank you for loving me, too. Amongst the things I look up and now miss seeing are clear blue skies and jacaranda trees in bloom. #jacaranda #jacarandatree #jacarandatreesinfullbloom #treelover #tree_brilliance #Sydney #visitsydney #nsw #Australia
Good light and a handful of curls to document and suddenly, I'm a woman. Then, all the filters. #shameless #raw #selfie #curlscurlscurls #instagramfilters #selection #womanlyduties #ᴡᴏᴍᴀɴʟʏ
