There are things out there that are hard to read. They require introspection and investigation. They’re not packaged nicely; they’re not inviting, droll, or light and they don’t sell you anything. That’s what I’m here to write about. I want to write from the side of the little guy, to give representation to people and places that often remain overlooked, unheard and unknown. I want to write about what’s difficult to think of, and perhaps, even more difficult to read. I am interested in the unpopular- be it in history, culture, society or human nature. There is a lot to learn from what seems bothersome, far-removed from the realm of the relatable- and it’s worth seeing why we have collectively pushed it there. I go there for the magic, I stay because there’s growth.
